- It is suggesting our current version of the human family tree needs another branch.
- The jaw, skull, and leg bones belonging to this yet-to-be classified hominin, labelled HLD 6.
- These HLD 6 does not resemble the Homo erectus species, which survived in Indonesia until about 100,000 years ago.
