- The cheer-up song for the Men’s Hockey World Cup has been released.
- The song was sung in Odia by Bollywood singer Mika Singh.
- The song titled “Asa kariba bobal, Odisha naa heba global” also featured the Odissi dance moves, along with popular Sambalpuri dance.
- The song also featured Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and former India hockey captain Dilip Tirkey from the state.
- The state government had roped in music composer A.R. Rahman for the official song for the tournament.
- Bollywood lyricist Gulzar will pen down the track titled “Jai Hind, Jai India”.
- The opening ceremony of the tournament will be held on November 27.
