North Korea successfully launched a new type of nuclear-capable intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) named Hwasong-15.
Hwasong-15 is the ‘greatest ICBM’ that could be armed with a ‘super-large heavy nuclear warhead’ capable of striking the ‘whole mainland’ of the United States of America.
It was North Korea’s 20 th launch of a ballistic missile this year and third successful test of an ICBM in the recent antagonism between America and North Korea.
The ICBM was launched from near South Pyongan Province, Pyongyang and It is the first time a missile was fired from this location.
It accurately destroyed its target which is fixed in the Japan’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) in Sea of Japan.
