Hydrogen into CGD network

- Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) has started India’s first-of-its-kind project to mix hydrogen into the natural gas system at Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
- Hydrogen blended natural gas will be supplied to Avantika Gas Limited.
- GAIL started the “hydrogen blending program” in line with National Hydrogen Mission.
- The hydrogen blending program was started as a pilot project to establish the techno-commercial feasibility of blending hydrogen in City Gas Distribution (CGD) network.
