- The Indian Air Force (IAF) launched a major training exercise, codenamed 'Trishul,' along the China-Pakistan border in the north and west part of India.
- The primary objective of 'Trishul' is to evaluate Western Air Command's overall combat preparedness.
- However, the high-intensity air exercise would be temporarily paused during the G20 summit in New Delhi.
