- Kerala Governor Arif Muhammad Khan inaugurated this cup at Kochi, Kerala.
- It will be India’s biggest para football event.
- Ten teams are participating in the event including India, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Japan, Iran, Australia, and Uzbekistan.
- This is the first time in India that a para football event will have 10 men’s teams and 2 women’s teams.
