On July 19, 2019, Zimbabwe cricket has been suspended by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Zimbabwe has been suspended for failing to provide free and democratic elections and ensuring that there is no government interference in cricket administration.
It will not be allowed to play in any ICC tournaments.
ICC has now altered the punishment for maintaining a slow over-rate. Both Captain and team members will be fined, not just Captain.
Shashank Manohar is the Chairperson of ICC and Manu Sawhney is the CEO.
