The 6th edition of ICC Women’s World T20 cup has been won by Australia by defeating England in the final at Antigua, West Indies.
This is Australia’s 4th world cup victory after 2010, 2012 and 2014.
Australia's wicket keeper Alyssa Healy was named the Player of the match in the finals.
Australia were beaten by West Indies in the last world cup in 2016.
In this World Cup, India lost to England in the semi-final match.
Indian Team captain Harmanpreet Kaur became the first woman for India to score a century in WT20Is, a match against New Zealand and the third for any country to score one at an ICC Women's World Twenty20.
She was the leading run-scorer for India in the tournament, with 183 runs in five matches.
