IIF Report on debt

- The Institute of International Finance (IIF) has reported that, World debt reached record $281 trillion at end of 2020
- This accounts for more than 355 per cent of global GDP.
- This will increase by another $10 trillion in the year 2021 since the political and social pressures pushes for more spending.
- This in turn will increase the debt load past $92 trillion with the end of 2021.
