- The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has begun to include Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Ladakh and Muzaffarabad into its meteorological sub-division of Jammu and Kashmir.
- This change comes after Pakistan Government decided to hold elections in Gilgit-Baltistan.
