The Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru has emerged as India’s third-busiest airport for international passenger traffic after Mumbai.
It surpasses Chennai and Kochi in October 2024.
In domestic passenger traffic, Bengaluru remains third after Delhi and Mumbai.
