- Prime Minister launched an India post payments bank (IPPB) on September 01, 2018
- Through the India Post Payments Bank, banking services will conveniently reach the remotest places in the country, and the people living there.
- It will provide services through the post offices and ‘Grameen Dak Sewaks’.
- IPPB is one more step to achieve Jan Dhan Yojana’s objective.
