- The popular internet speed testing service Ookla has released the November edition of the Speed Test Global Index, ranking average internet speeds in different countries, on mobile and home broadband.
- India is ranked 109 out of 122 countries in terms of mobile internet speed. On an average mobile data networks in India is 8.80Mbps.
- At present, Norway has the fastest mobile networks in the world with an average speed of 62.66Mbps.
- India is ranked 76 out of 133 countries for broadband speed.
- In broadband speed, Singapore leads the way with average speed of 153.85 Mbps.
