- India was the second most targeted country in the Asia Pacific & Japan region for ransomware attacks.
- It was the third most attacked country in 2021.
- There was a total of 14,983,271 ransomware threats globally in 2022.
- 38.06% of the attacks targeting Asia, and 10.51% of those attacks being detected in India.
