• World Parliamentary Forum on Sustainable Development was held at Nusa Dua in Indonesia (6-7 September 2017).It discussed about achieving the 2030 Agenda through Inclusive Development. Finally, the conclusions were adopted as Bali Declaration (2017). • An Indian parliamentary delegation, led by Speaker Lok Sabha Sumitra Mahajan attended the meeting. At the end of Proposals India dissociated itself from the Bali declaration as Bali Declaration specifically mentioned a reference to violence in Rakhine state of Myanmar, from where 125,000 Rohingyas have fled to Bangladesh. • India argued that specifying a particular country is unjustified as this Forum is focused on SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and inclusive development for all countries based on cooperative and collaborative approach to achieve the 2030 Agenda for the world.
