- Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has inaugurated the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) and a National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal.
- This I4C Centre is located in New Delhi.
- It will be set up under the newly created Cyber and Information Security (CIS) division of the MHA.
- The National Cyber Crime reporting portal will enable the citizens to report cybercrimes online.
- Apart from I4C, the central government has also launched NIC-CERT (National Informatics Centre-Computer Emergency Response Team).
