- Piyush Goyal inaugurates the Indian Jewellery Exposition Centre (IJEX) building in Dubai.
- During the launch of IJEX, the minister called upon the export members of the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council to go for a USD 100 billion export target annually from the current USD 35 billion.
