- State-owned Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has set up ‘India’s first e-vehicle charging unit’ in Nagpur.
- IOC, in collaboration with Ola, unveiled the electric charging station at one of its petrol-diesel stations in Nagpur
- Nagpur is the first city to introduce Electric Public Transportation Model in India.
- It is considered a major step in spreading the use of green energy.
