India’s first specialized hospital for elephants was unveiled at Churmura village in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.
It is promoted by Wildlife SOS which had established first elephant conservation and care centre in 2010.
The hospital is located close to the elephant conservation and care centre.
Wildlife SOS is a non-profit organisation in the conservation sector.
It was established in 1995 with the primary objective of rescuing and rehabilitating the wildlife in distress across the country and preserving India’s natural heritage.
