- India’s first integrated machine tool park is named as Tumakuru Machine Tool Park.
- It is built in Karnataka.
- The park is developed under the scheme of Enhancement of Competitiveness in Indian Capital Goods Sector (ECICGS), jointly by the state government and the Department of Heavy Industries, Government of India.
- The Indian Machine Tools Manufacturers Association has provided the technical assistance to this.
- The park is located at Vasanatha narasapura which is around 90 km from Bengaluru.
