Karnataka has emerged as the leading state for generating renewable energy in India this year, with a total installed capacity of 12.3 gigawatts (GW), as of March 2018.
The report was done by 'The Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis' (IEEFA).
Tamil Nadu ranks second in producing Renewable Energy.
