- 11 cities across the country have been awarded with the prestigious title of being Top 11 Cycling Pioneers of India.
- This was announced by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
- They are Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Kohima, Nagpur, New Town Kolkata, Pimpri Chinchwad, Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara and Warangal.
- Four cities (Aurangabad, Gurugram, Jabalpur and Silvassa), received a special mention by the jury for the efforts put in by them in testing the pilot initiatives of the challenge.
