- India along with Govt. of United Kingdom launched the Industrial Deep Decarbonization Initiative (IDDI).
- It was launched under the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) at the 12th Chief Energy Ministerial (CEM).
- IDDI is a global coalition of public and private organisations who are working to stimulate demand for low carbon industrial materials.
- It is coordinated by United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
- IDDI is co-led by the UK and India.
- The current members also include Germany and Canada.
