- The Indian Navy has launched two anti-submarine warfare (ASW) shallow water crafts, named Malpe and Mulki.
- These vessels are part of the Eight Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft project.
- They are the fourth and fifth ships to be launched under the program.
- They are equipped with indigenously developed underwater sensors designed to detect and neutralize enemy submarines and underwater threats.
