- Thoothukudi VOC Port has become the first major port in India to implement Integrated Management System (IMS) by bringing the
- Quality Management System (QMS),
- Environment Management System (EMS) and
- Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS)
- The integration of QMS, EMS and OHSAS will simplify the documentation procedures, besides unifying the audit work by abolishing the three separate auditing and also it will reduce the work load.
- The certificates and accreditation will be renewed annually.
