- The 24th January is observed as International Day of Education all over the world.
- The UN General Assembly on 03 December 2018, decided to celebrate 24 January as International Day of Education, in a way to appraise the role of education for peace and development.
- The right to education is represented in article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
