- The United Nations' (UN) International Human Solidarity Day is annually held on December 20 to celebrate unity in diversity and to raise public awareness of the importance of solidarity.
- Its objective is to eradicate poverty and promote human and social development in developing countries, in particular among the poorest segments of their populations.
