The four-day long international Lavi Fair at Rampur Bushahr in Himachal Pradesh has concluded.
Besides being three centuries old, the fair is also known for its trade with Tibet, China and other countries.
The fair is believed to be started by Raja Kehari Singh of Rampur Bushahr to facilitate trade.
The main attraction during the fair is sale and purchase of Chamurthi horses – an endangered species of horse which traces its origin to the Tibet region.
Chamurthi horses are also known as the ‘ship of the cold desert’.
