- MC Mary Kom (48kg) beat Kazakhstan's Aigerim Kassanayeva and clinched gold in the 13th International Silesian Women's Boxing Championships in Gliwice, Poland.
- Manisha (54kg) lost in her final bout and settled for a silver.
- In the Youth category, Jyoti Gulia, former World champion, won Gold in 51 kg category.
- She is India’s only boxer to have qualified for Youth Olympic Games in Argentina to be held in October 2018.
