- The Indian bull frog (Hoplobatrachus tigerinus) which is native to the Indian mainland, has recently invaded the Andaman archipelago.
- It has grown into a widespread invasive species.
- It threatens Andaman’s local economy and ecosystem by eating native wildlife including fish, lizards and even poultry.
