- The Tamilnadu State government has signed memoranda of understanding (MoU) with six companies for investment proposals to the tune of ₹900 crore.
- They would provide employment to about 4,100 people in Chennai, Coimbatore, and Madurai.
- The companies include Nokia, PayPal, Microchip, Infinx and etc.
