- It aims to provide the status of sustainable bioenergy development.
- Bioenergy is a form of renewable energy generated when we burn biomass fuel.
- Bioenergy currently accounts for two-thirds of all renewable energy consumption worldwide.
- Bioenergy can incur negative environmental, social and economic impacts such as biodiversity loss, food insecurity and deforestation.
