- Jaipur Literature festival was held in Houston, Texas, United States on 14th and 15th September 2018.
- This is the 1st time the festival is held outside Jaipur, ever since its inception in 2006.
- It is hailed as the World's largest free literary festival.
- After Houston, it will be held in New York from September 19 to 20 and in Boulder, Colorado from September 21 to 23.
- It will also be held in Australia and England later.
