- Karnataka clinched the overall championship in the 44th junior national aquatic championship which concluded in Pune.
- Srihari Natraj from Karnataka walked away with the best swimmer in the boys Group I category and also set a National record in the men’s 50m backstroke
- Swadesh Mondal from West Bengal walked away with the best swimmer in the boys Group II category
- Rayna Saldanha and Kenisha Gupta, took home the individual titles in the girls section.
