- The 18th edition of the two-day-long Kachai Lemon Festival began in Manipur at the Local Ground of Kachai Village in the Ukhrul district.
- This year the festival is being organized under the theme ‘Organic Kachai Lemon for Safe Environment and Rural Transformation’.
- Kachai Lemon of Manipur has been accorded Geographical Indication (GI) registration tag.
