- Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) received this award for,
- Providing a modern transit network with amenities on a par with global standards.
- Adopting energy saving technologies, green initiatives in Phase I.
- First and pioneering edition of the summit was conducted on 15th October 2016.
