- The Karnataka government has announced that (KITE) will be held from 28th February 2018.
- It will be the largest B2B event in the country. For the first time ever India will have such a big event for the tourism and travel sector.
- The event aims to project Karnataka globally as a Prime tourist’s choice by emphasising on the state’s wildlife, historic monuments, UNESCO world heritage sites etc.
