- Indian Navy is set to induct the second Scorpene submarine Khanderi by early May.
- Khanderi was launched in January 2017 and has since been undergoing a series of trials.
- Khanderi is a “KALVARI Class” Attack Submarine.
- It is a diesel-electric attack submarine which is designed by French naval defence and energy company DCNS and manufactured at Mazagon Dock Limited in Mumbai.
