- The second edition of this game will be held at Bengaluru from in March 2022.
- The inaugural edition was held in Odisha in 2020.
- It is the largest university level sports competition in India.
- It is organised by Sports Authority of India (SAI) and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports along with Association of Indian Universities, Indian Olympic Association and National Sports Federation.
- It was launched after the success of the Khelo India Youth Games in 2018.
- Those games had completed its third edition in 2020.
- The fourth edition will be held at Haryana in 2021.
