- The five-day meet featured over 1,500 athletes from 32 states, Union Territories of India, and other teams competing in 11 sports.
- The state or Union Territory with the highest number of gold medals at the end of the meet was declared the winner.
- Jammu and Kashmir topped the KIWG 2023 medal table with 26 golds, 25 silvers and 25 bronze.
- Maharashtra finished second with 13 gold medals, eight silvers and six bronze.
