Kid’s bones found in burial urn

  • A small burial urn which was unearthed at the Adichanallur excavation site has been found to contain the bones of a child.
  • It also contains ornaments, especially bangles of smaller sizes.
  • It could be of a child aged five to eight years since a small skull and hand bone were found inside.
  • There were four bangles made of a mixture of bronze and silver.
  • Adichanallur in Tuticorin district is an important archaeological excavation site, especially for burial urns.
