- The eruption has commenced within Halema'uma'u crater in Kilauea's summit caldera, within Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
- The sulphur dioxide emission rate of around 65,000 tonnes per day.
- The volcano had stopped erupting in December for the first time since September 2021.
