- Bhopal-based Indian Institute of Soil Science of the India Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has been awarded the prestigious King Bhumibol World Soil Day 2020 Award.
- The award was conferred by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Rome.
- The prestigious global award was conferred to the ICAR for its commitment to raising awareness of the importance of healthy soils.
