- The Coimbatore Vijaya Publishing house's Vijaya Reader Circle's 2021 has announced that the Ki.Ra. award will be given to famous writer Konangi.
- Writer Konangi who is a story teller of modern Tamil literature belongs to Kovilpatti.
- Every year Ki.Ra. award and a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh is awarded in the name of Writer K. Raja Narayanan, who is known as the father of Karisal literature.
- This K.R. The award is presented by Shakti Masala.
- For the past 5 years the Vijaya Readers Circle of Coimbatore Vijaya Publishing house has selected Jayakanthan Award for Best Author, Poet Meera Award, Innovator Award, Shakthi Vai Govindan Award for Best Government Librarian and Vanathi Thirunavukkarasu Award for Best Bookseller.
