- Prime Minister of India, Prime Minister of Bangladesh & the Chief Minister of West Bengal, flagged off Cross Border Train between India & Bangladesh, the Kolkata-Khulna Bandhan Express through video conference from Kolkata station.
- This is the second Indo-Bangla train service after Maitree Express which runs between runs between Dhaka and Kolkata.
- They also inaugurated
- The second Bhairab and Titas railway bridges on Dhaka-Chittagong route over the Meghna and Titas rivers respectively in Bangladesh
- The railway passenger terminus with end-to-end immigration and customs clearance facilities at the Kolkata station.
