- Tamilnadu government plans to establish a world-class museum at Konthagai village in Sivagangai district at a cost of 12.21 crores.
- The museum would display the artefacts unearthed from Keeladi excavation site.
- It will be established to take forward and popularize the rich culture and heritage of the state.
