- Parliament passes following 3 Bills related to Labour Law
- Code on Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions,
- The Industrial Relations Code, and
- The Social Security Code.
- It aims at amending the laws relating to Trade Unions, conditions of employment in industrial establishment or undertaking, investigation and settlement of industrial disputes.
- With the passage of these three Bills, 29 central labour laws have been codified into four broad codes (the first code on wages was approved by Parliament last year).
- It improves ease of doing business and providing universal social security to workers as well.
