- Union Science & Technology minister inaugurated a novel holistic Local Treatment of Urban Sewage Streams for Healthy Reuse (LOTUSHR) project at Sun Dial Park in New Delhi.
- It is a joint initiative of Indian and Dutch scientists, to re-convert waste water to clean water and generate bio-fuel, during the process.
