- The total voter turnout from the total 6,18,90,348 electors in the State was 69.72%.
- Across all 39 constituencies, Dharmapuri registered the highest turnout of 81.48 per cent turnout.
- Chennai Central registered the lowest voter turnout of 53.91 per cent.
- While women voters’ turnout stood at 69.85%, the men voter turnout was recorded at 69.58%.
- DMK and its allies won a spectacular victory in all of Tamil Nadu’s 39 segments and in the lone Puducherry seat.
- Congress candidate and former IAS officer Sasikanth Senthil won with a highest margin of 5,72,155 votes in Tiruvallur.
- Virudhunagar Lok Sabha constituency’s Manickam Tagore of the Congress won with lowest margin of 4379.
