- Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha Television - the two TV channels have been formally merged into a single entity called ‘Sansad Television’.
- Rajya Sabha Television used to broadcast the proceedings of the upper House of Parliament.
- Lok Sabha Television used to broadcast the proceedings of the lower House of Parliament.
- Now under the banner of Sansad, TV it is expected that Lok Sabha TV will continue to telecast live proceedings of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha TV that of the Rajya Sabha.
- A retired IAS officer of the 1986 batch, Ravi Capoor, has been appointed as Sansad TV Chief Executive Officer for one year.
